First of all, I would like to commend all of us mothers in the family. We have done so much for our children. And although sometimes we feel bad because at some point we feel we have failed because we often see that our kids' mistakes are our failures. But hey, this is what life has taught me. Our kids' mistakes are their mistakes. Not ours, for as long as we continue to support them in their endeavours. Surely, it will be frustrating but mistakes serve their purpose in life too. They are there for our kids to learn from. Not for us to live in denial and for us to live in shame. Sure there may be people who will judge or criticize, but they are just people.. plain and simple... If they may be part of the extended family, then don't mind them. A family sticks together, and mothers are the glue that binds, not the factor for separation. If other members of the family or the clan does nothing but criticize, then perhaps that person or those persons are not really part of the family.. Not at all...
